The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) results on Monday, August 17, 2015 at its official website http://aipmt.nic.in.
Haryana’s Vipul Garg topped the AIPMT examination results 2015 by scoring 695 out of 700 marks.
Khushi Tiwari of Rajasthan secured 688 marks to get second rank.
Students are required to get good marks to get admission into the top graded medical colleges in India.
Around 374,386 students gave the exams that were conducted at 1065 centres in 50 cities across India. 180,957 boys and 193,429 girls appeared for the exams this year.
The journey for the candidates appearing for the examination this year was a bit irritating, as the papers of the first exam were leaked, and a retest was held the second time.
The retest of AIPMT was directed by the Supreme Court and was held on July 25, 2015. The retest was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). This came as a relief for some of the serious aspirants.
A medical student reported that cheating is not justified, and so the decision of re conducting the examination with a new set of papers and by the CBSE was mandatory and the most fruitful decision made by the Supreme Court.
The results can be checked at http://cbseresults.nic.in/aipmt/aipmt_2015.htm.
The students were relieved of the exam stress after the paper was leaked as they got plenty of time for preparing for the retest.
There was a long duration between the first test and the retest that took place. Some students are also disappointed who have given the first test with full efficiency and found the preparation and the exam for the retest to be a tenacious work.
Nitin Sardar, a medical aspirant, said, “I was very busy the whole year and studied continuously for the last seven months to prepare for the exam.
“Giving the retest has boosted my confidence of getting a college of my choice as my performance has increased”.
