Skullgirls Is Getting A Mobile Edition
Android and iOS devices will have something new to them later in the year. Developer Hidden Variable Studios says that having been made available in almost every modern platform, Indie fighter Skullgirls will now have a mobile edition. The game which includes dozens of characters and special moves has had more popularity in PC and console fighting game’s assets and engine hence joining the RPG and collectibles mechanics.
The game has not been publicly named, but its anchoring by an RPG progression system will give it more customization, team building as well as combo coordination. Besides, it will embrace a Fight Assist feature that its players can use to get more tactical with their moment-to-moment action.
The game has been in demand by many, but Charley Price, Hidden Variable’s co-founder, and the creative director say that it has been laborious to put it together. Nevertheless, the self-professed fan of the franchise confirms that fans of the console game will love the essence of fighting gameplay in an easier and mobile-friendly package.
It will have an amazing cast of characters on board as well as unique fighting mechanics. After all, the Studio’s motive is to have a game that will please the hardcore. It should also be a game that will create quick interest and impact to the new fans.
However, the Skullgirls mobile may need a “little extra moxie” which will facilitate its smooth running. At the same time and despite getting a good reputation over the years, it may not have so much fun if the players will be expected to use purchased apps to unlock favorite characters.
All said and done; everyone is now on the look out to see how the game turns out to be. Apparently, those who backed it up on Indiego go may have everything in their favor when they register for the beta. However, this remains something to be confirmed by its developers but for now, it’s just about the fun it will bring along.
